FAMILY SUPPORT
We are ALWAYS available to assist parents.
We help parents coordinate services (i.e. Medicaid), learn about resources, and most importantly, we are here for emotional support. We want your child to learn, grow, and thrive during their time with us and we assure you we will be by your side every step of the way. It is our goal to prepare you and your child for success once they reach regular school age and beyond.
HOME THERAPY... A therapist goes to the home or child care setting to provide speech, occupational, and/or physical therapy. Services are offered in collaboration with the Early Steps program for children birth through three years of age.
FAMILY SUPPORT ACTIVITIES...
This includes Family Support meets, trainings, and Family Fun Nights. Capstone Academy sponsors a variety of family activities, some of which include holiday parties, picnics, and other special trips. The format of Family Support meetings and trainings may include having special guest speakers and topics such as behavior management, therapy techniques, and other topics as suggested by families and/or the Advisory Council. Capstone Academy welcomes and encourages family participation and input.
