Inclusive After School/Summer Child Care for School-Aged Children With and Without Disabilities
This program serves children and youth from preschool to 12th grade by providing a safe nurturing environment with opportunities for social and developmental activities. Programs are also available during school breaks and in the summer.
Free Voluntary PreKindergarten
For Florida Residents Age 4 On Or Before September 1
Capstone Academy's VPK program (500 Instructional VPK hours offered in the Fall) prepares students for kindergarten by offering a qualified teaching staff, age-appropriate literacy-based curricula, and manageable student-to-teacher ratios.
Free Public Charter Preschool
For Children (3 to 5 years old) with Developmental Delays/Disabilities
Using the skills and expertise of teachers, occupational, physical and speech therapists, and board certified behavior analysts, Capstone Academy provides educational opportunities based on each child's individual needs. The communication-based classroom environments incorporate verbal behavior techniques throughout the day. Our preschool curriculum provides appropriate activities/tasks covering six developmental areas: cognitive, language, gross motor, fine motor, social-emotional, and self help skills. The school embraces a behavior support system which focuses on the replacement of inappropriate behaviors with socially appropriate behaviors.
Early Intervention
For Children from Birth to Three with Special Needs
Our professional Interdisciplinary Team provides comprehensive early intervention to children with special needs ages birth through three. The team consists of physical, occupational, and speech therapists and a developmental specialist who provide services within the community as well as in other natural environment settings.
